We are a community of individuals from Northern Virginia who have come together with the common bond of being related through Parkinsons Disease.

We come from different places, different backgrounds, different situations and different levels of understanding, but making common cause against this terrible disease.

We are people with Parkinsons, we are family members, we are care partners and care givers, we are amateurs, and we are all kinds of people who are linked to this terrible disease.

We are caring, we are thoughtful, we are helpful, we are dedicated to our people with Parkinson, and yes, we are often exhausted from working hard at our objectives – sometimes with little reward

We are constantly searching for ways to make life easier for our people, we are filled with compassion and understanding of the travail of those who are suffering, and we are eager to grasp at anything that can, could or even might possibly improve the situation

We are realists and understand that we are more often than not in the long run we are trying to make things better while pushing against the tide.

We are relentless in our efforts to compensate for things that overwhelm our people and ourselves, but…
